Circle C Community Center
This facility is a thriving hub of activity for the Circle C neighborhood; it serves as a venue for various events and meetings, as well as a spot for recreation with slides, water playgrounds, and lap pool. The community center was built to integrate into the site to maximize views and save existing trees and vegetation where possible.
Corner glazing is utilized in multiple locations to maximize views of the site and the abundant preserved trees.
Moveable partitions and mobile furnishings provide maximum flexibility to accommodate a wide variety of community meetings and functions. Large expanses of glazing at occupant level provide view of the surrounding site while banded clerestory glazing above maintains contact with the trees enveloping the building.
