Idle Beer Hall & Brewery
The Clark Building, once a bustling tire service hub, now breathes new life as Idle Brewery, leased to Pouring with Heart (PWH), who meticulously preserved the original character, including an iconic basketball hoop and burgundy-painted trusses proclaiming “Cultivating your Confidence.”
PWH collaborated with interior designer Lilianne Steckel and their branding team to develop Idle’s concept, inspired by the Mexican influence on Texas, incorporating natural textures, vibrant patterns, and vintage elements.

There is an original single basketball hoop mounted on one of the walls that PWH specifically requested to keep, it remained in place throughout construction, and it is now highlighted with a colorful mural.
Rialto Studio designed the patio with a consistent palette of plantings and paving, complementing the adjacent Make Ready project, and emphasized the immediate benefits of mature trees for shade from day one.
