Located between Broadway and the scenic San Antonio River, Make Ready Market is River North’s top “glad you’re here spot.” This vibrant food hall showcases a diverse range of eateries, featuring culinary delights from San Antonio’s renowned chefs and rising stars. Housed in the historic Cavendar Cadillac dealership, the market offers a unique, multi-restaurant dining experience in a beautifully repurposed setting.  The screened porch, crafted with durable cedar, was designed for comfort, seamless flow, and views of the neighboring SOTO, Texas’ first mass-timber office building. Salvaged trusses and an enhanced structure support new skylights and a roof, preserving the building’s historic character with its original painted columns. Playful furniture, including maker tables on casters and vintage stools, evokes a workshop vibe. A new slab with a raised platform ensures ADA-compliant access while adding depth to the space. Custom booth benches, inspired by leather car seats, and restroom lighting that mimics car headlights pay homage to the building’s past as a Cadillac dealership. Salvaged masonry and exposed structure add character, while the porch, equipped with fans, screens, and heaters, offers year-round comfort.
