Swinerton’s 8,000 square foot office celebrates construction by incorporating materials in their original form. Designers utilized the existing red iron steel and included local brick, reclaimed wood, shelving made with plumbing pipe, and hand-made furniture. In addition to the raw materials, designers added a vibrant splash of color to capture the true personality of Swinerton – Austin.

The client wanted its visitors to immediately be immersed in the company’s culture. Unlike traditional office layouts, the conference/break area is situated at the entry, drawing more activity to the forefront of the office. The conference/break area is a multi-function space that includes a state-of-the-art conference room with automated garage doors that open into the break/game area, transforming it into a social space for entertaining.
