Capital Creek Partners, HM International & Capstar Ventures
Capital Creek, HM International, and Capstar Ventures came together to share a continuous office space on the second floor of the 1608 West 5th Street building. The design challenge was to harmonize their diverse aesthetic preferences into a cohesive interior that blends the comfort of a home office with the functionality of a commercial space.
Full-glass fronts and returns maximize natural light, with roller shades added for privacy in meeting rooms.
To achieve a balanced aesthetic, residential-inspired elements like wood paneling in the breakroom and lounge were paired with corporate touches, including acoustic paneling and modern light fixtures.
Breakroom features high-end residential touches: faux wood paneling, panel-ready appliances, and a full-height stone backsplash.
The layout was strategically planned to ensure each group had its own defined area with offices, workstations, and room for future expansion.
