Microsoft PacWest

To create a workplace that embodies the Microsoft brand—blending technology, nature, and the human factor—the relocation of the PacWest Sales team and Microsoft Technology Center was a collaborative effort in design and workplace strategy.
The Customer Floor evokes a town green, with a central reception lobby surrounded by spaces showcasing Microsoft’s technology and experiences. Highlights include a striking backlit acoustic ceiling feature that inspires visitors upon arrival.

The adjacent Interactive Center, a sophisticated walnut and glass living room, seamlessly connects to the open reception space. Integrated technology invites customers to engage and interact.

An Executive Briefing Center is nestled on the east side of the building with panoramic mountain views and, nearby, the Envisioning Center is a mini-theater immersing customers in experiences of technology and innovation.

A central breakroom hub, inspired by a neighborhood coffee shop, offers a welcoming space to relax, connect, and collaborate. Muted colors, warm industrial fixtures, and layered textures create an inviting atmosphere.

Designing for discovery and mobility, the Employee floor features organically arranged neighborhoods along its perimeter. Natural light, views, and diverse collaborative spaces—including focus, phone, and conference rooms, unassigned sit-to-stand desks, and personal storage lockers—enhance functionality and flexibility.
