TrueCar
TrueCar, a leading automotive pricing and digital retailing platform, sought a distinct design for their new Austin office in Bee Cave. Known for helping users compare vehicle prices and access deals from over 15,000 certified dealers, their office design needed to reflect a culture of connection, collaboration, and transparency.
Because their new space was multi-level, TRUECar feared the connectivity between employees would become lost between the two floors. Designers incorporated an internal stairwell that could bring the two floors together in a way that encouraged collaboration. The new, open stair feeds down into an energetic huddle area designed with white boards, various touch down areas, and views to the Hill Country.
Building a framework of private and open spaces that allow natural light to filter into the work areas reinforces the idea that transparency, collaboration and a sense of well-being are paramount to TRUECars’s culture.
The breakroom exudes a lively Austin vibe, serving as a versatile space for dining, recreation, collaboration, and more.
The design language takes on a simple, warm industrial palette revealing a modern aesthetic with bold moments like wall graphics and open huddle areas.
